Reference & Technical Services Departments

Reference librarians instruct groups and individuals in the use of electronic databases such as MEDLINE, the Levy Library Online Catalog, and in the selection of print and electronic resources. They also provide guidance in information search strategy and assist in the location, verification, and interpretation of bibliographic and factual data. Reference services are provided in person at the Reference Desk, by telephone at 241-7793 (ext. 47793) or 241-7204 (ext. 47204), and by our Ask a Librarian email service.

Technical services librarians and staff order and process materials for the library, maintain and update the online catalog, and organize and maintain both the physical and online collections.
