The
Children's IBD Center at Mount Sinai
The Children's
IBD Center at Mount Sinai was founded to provide innovative and comprehensive
care to pediatric patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which includes
Crohn's Disease and Colitis. Over 900 children with IBD are followed
at Mount Sinai each year (over 4,000 visits per year). This extensive
pediatric experience, in collaboration with the hospital's internationally
renowned adult IBD program, makes Mount Sinai an ideal location for
a unique approach to IBD care in children.
Team IBD Kids run the NYC Marathon
Team IBD Kids ran the 2008 New York City Marathon to raise money and increase awareness about IBD. All of us at Mount Sinai Medical Center and in the IBD community salute these runners for their commitment to the struggle against IBD.
