CME Enduring Materials

CME Enduring Materials are printed, recorded, or computer-assisted instructional materials which may be used over a designated period of time at various locations, and which, in themselves, constitute a planned activity of continuing medical education. Examples of such materials include programmed tests, audiotapes, videotapes, slide kits, monographs, computer-assisted, and web-based instructional materials which may be used either alone, or in combination with written materials for independent learning by physicians. "Reference materials" such as books, journals and manuals are not considered enduring materials.
