Program Requirements

  • Certification of satisfactory completion of at least one year of training in an ACGME-approved primary care training program. Certification of eligibility in another specialty is preferred but not required.
  • United States citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • Candidates must be eligible for a New York State license, and have taken their USMLE step 1, step 2 and step 3 at the time of application.
  • Completion by prior program director or chief of services of an attestation of ACGME competency completion is necessary.
