Program to Treat and Prevent Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders

Services

This Program integrates occupational medicine with rehabilitation, occupational ergonomics, education, training, social work and research. Services include:

  • Specialized medical care staffed by board certified occupational, physical and internal medicine physicians
  • Ergonomic needs assessments and office ergonomic equipment demonstrations at our facilities
  • Ergonomic work site evaluations and technical assistance
  • Ergonomics education and training programs
  • Individual patient counseling
  • Patient advocacy
  • Assistance with Workers’ Compensation
  • Support groups for injured workers
  • Referral to acupuncture, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical massage therapy, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement and other complimentary/alternative healing arts
  • Research into the causes, treatment and prevention of MSDs
