at The Mount Sinai Medical Center

The World Trade Center Worker and Volunteer Medical Screening Program is located at 1200 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan at the corner of 101st Street. The Center is easily accessible both by public transportation and by car.

Although we are part of The Mount Sinai Medical Center, we are not located inside the main hospital.

Exit at 96th Street. Proceed west on 96th Street for six blocks and turn right on Madison Avenue. Proceed north for three blocks and turn right on 99th Street to enter the Mount Sinai parking lot.

The Mount Sinai parking lot is located at East 99th Street between Madison and Park Avenues. From the parking lot, walk north on Madison Avenue to 101st Street. Turn left on 101st Street and walk one block to Fifth Avenue. The clinic is located at the corner of 101st Street and Fifth Avenue.

We have arranged for a special parking fee of $8.40 a day with the submission of a parking letter. The Clinic staff should ask you if you parked in the Mount Sinai garage and offer you the parking letter but, if they don’t, please request this letter from the clinic when you arrive for your appointment.

By Subway

Take the Number 6 local train to 96th Street. Walk west (uphill) two blocks to Madison Avenue. Turn right, and walk north (downhill) to the Mount Sinai campus. The price of a single ride is $2.00, or you may purchase a multiple ride or unlimited ride MetroCard and receive discounted fares. By MTA Bus (within NYC)

The price of a single ride is $2.00 (which includes a free transfer), or you may purchase a multiple ride or unlimited ride MetroCard and receive discounted fares. If you do not purchase a MetroCard prior to boarding the bus, you will need exact change to pay the fare. From the North: Fifth Avenue buses M1, M2, M3, or M4 stop at 101st Street and 96th Street. Cross Fifth Avenue to the Mount Sinai campus.

From the South: Madison Avenue buses M1, M2, M3, or M4 stop at 98th Street and 100th Street. Cross Madison Avenue to the Mount Sinai campus.

From Port Authority Bus Terminal: Take the M10 bus north to 96th Street and transfer to the M96 bus, which goes through Central Park, and get off at 96th and Fifth Avenue; or take the M42 or M104 bus from 42nd Street and 8th Avenue across town to 42nd Street and Madison Avenue. Transfer to the M1, M2, M3, or M4 bus north on Madison Avenue. Get off at 98th Street or 100th Street. Cross Madison Avenue to the Mount Sinai campus.

From Penn Station: Take the Q32 bus from 7th Avenue and 34th Street to 42nd Street and Madison Avenue. Transfer to the M1, M2, M3, or M4 bus north on Madison Avenue. Get off at 98th Street or 100th Street. Cross Madison Avenue to the Mount Sinai campus.

From Queens: Take the Q32 bus to 57th Street and Madison Avenue. Transfer to M1, M2, M3, or M4 bus north on Madison Avenue. Get off at 98th Street or 100th Street. Cross Madison Avenue to the Mount Sinai campus.

By Train or Bus

Trains into New York arrive at either Grand Central Station (42nd St. and Park Ave.) or Pennsylvania Station (32nd St. and 7th Ave.). Long distance buses debark at the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd St. and 8th Ave.

From Grand Central Station

Take the Uptown/Bronx Number 6 local train to 96th Street.

From Port Authority Bus Terminal

Take the Uptown/Queens N, R, or W subway train to 59th Street. Transfer to the Uptown/Bronx Number 6 local train to 96th Street.

Take the Uptown Number 2 or 3 Express subway train to 96th Street. Then take the M96 crosstown bus at Broadway and 96th Street to 5th Avenue.

From Pennsylvania Station

Take the Uptown/Queens E subway train to 51st Street. Transfer to the Uptown/Bronx Number 6 Local subway train to 96th Street.

Take the Uptown Number 2 or 3 Express subway train to 96th Street. Then take the M96 crosstown bus at Broadway and 96th Street to 5th Avenue.
