The aim of this project is to describe the effects of pre- and post-natal lead exposure and childhood cognitive, behavioral, hematopoietic and anthropomorphic development through age 12.

The project aimed to measure 200 Yugoslavian children ages 10-12. This was successfully completed in May 1998. Analyses of the results we obtained are now underway.

The Mount Sinai XRF Laboratories provided equipment and performed both the measurements and the analysis of the bone-lead measurements required for the project.
