We can also transport our bone lead XRF measurement systems to remote locations, setting them up for short periods of time as we did for the studies in Yugoslavia (2 sites, 5 weeks total) and in Korea (one laboratory site, several temporary factory sites, 5 years). For such work, we set up the measurement system in one or more rooms made available to us in the remote location. In addition to space, all that are required are electricity and a local supplier of liquid nitrogen.
