Wall Street Run and Heart Walk

Sporting bright red team t-shirts, more than 50 Mount Sinai employees took to the streets of lower Manhattan, participating in the 3.1-mile American Heart Association (AHA) Walk/Run on September 23, 2004. Before and after the race, other volunteers from Mount Sinai participated in a health fair, at which some handed out brochures on heart health, while several cardiologists answered questions about a heart-healthy lifestyle. About 6,000 people participated in this event, which also raised funds for the AHA.
