Dental Anesthesiology Training Program

Curriculum

This program follows the "Standards for Advanced Specialty Education Programs in Dental Anesthesiology" as adopted by the ASDA and its sponsored board the ADBA. The didactic program begins with orientation in the Department of Anesthesiology and is continued with regularly scheduled conferences and rounds. Informal and clinical didactics are provided during cases in both the main and dental operating rooms. Residents gain clinical experience in the main operating rooms on general surgery cases as well as in the Dental Ambulatory operating room on dental cases.
