Dental Anesthesiology Training Program

Requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and be a graduate of an American or Canadian school of dentistry prior to beginning the training program. The applicant should have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement during college and dental school. Mount Sinai is a participant in PASS Official transcripts, National Board of Dental Examiners scores (Part I and Part II, if taken), and letters of recommendation must be forwarded with the application. Interviews will be conducted on an invitation-only basis. Approximately 10 applicants are interviewed for two positions. All applicants selected for interview will meet with the Department's Admission Committee.

Goals

The goals of this program are to provide a high level of advanced education in dental anesthesiology and pain control and to produce a clinically competent Dental Anesthesiologist eligible for board certification.
