Mount Sinai Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program

Introduction

Thank you for your interest in our Fellowship Training Program. Here at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, we offer a comprehensive, fully accredited fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The training program is a combined Mount Sinai Medical Center, Elmhurst, and Queens Hospital Center Fellowship. This amalgam of The Mount Sinai Hospital and the affiliates allows the division to offer a broad-based fellowship with clinical, academic, and investigative components.

We offer two training programs that are designed and tailored to meet the individual needs of each fellow planning a career as either a basic science, or clinical investigator.

  • The typical three-year clinician track emphasizes an outstanding clinical education balanced by a clinical investigative component.
  • A physician scientist track is offered to those trainees interested in a career in basic science research. Support is available for a fourth year of fellowship for promising young investigators.

Training Hospitals: The Mount Sinai Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital Center, Queens Hospital Center

Number of Fellows: 16

Length of Fellowship: Three years
