The Mount Sinai Department of Ophthalmology

The Mount Sinai Department of Ophthalmology is a multidisciplinary center for the visual sciences. Our comprehensive eye care program includes a team of innovative investigators engaged in clinical trials and laboratory research. Many of their results have exposed patients to the latest vision therapies.

Our faculty consists of full-time faculty clinicians, senior research scientists, and more than 100 voluntary faculty ophthalmologists located throughout the greater New York area.

Department educators conduct a training program for residents as well as undergraduate and graduate courses at Mount Sinai and affiliated institutions in the New York metropolitan area.
