Our Adolescent Health Center is one of the largest providers of adolescent health and wellness services in the United States. We provide vital services—high quality, comprehensive, confidential, and free—for all who come to us. As a leading center of clinical care, we're advancing adolescent health––a national imperative––by offering specialized training and innovative research. Our physicians provide comprehensive primary care, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, dental, optical, nutrition, and fitness services.

The Division of Allergy and Immunology cares for patients with allergic and immunologic diseases. We provide clinical services, as well as conduct federally and privately funded research related to food allergies.

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology provides state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services to pediatric patients and adults with congenital heart defects. In addition to our exemplary patient care, we also provide enhanced fellowship training, intra- and extramural teaching, and an innovative research environment.

The Division of Critical Care Medicine treats all patients admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital at Mount Sinai. The PICU staff provides the highest level of critical care for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical problems.

The Division of General Pediatrics promotes the health and wellbeing of children, families, and their communities through excellence in care, education, research, and advocacy. The division is staffed by clinician-educators and clinician-researchers recruited for their interest in practicing and teaching primary care in an urban, underserved community.

Our clinicians focus their research on areas including health care delivery, health policy, environmental health, obesity, asthma, community pediatrics, child abuse, injury prevention, psychosocial issues in primary care, and adolescent health risk behaviors.

The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases offers inpatient and ambulatory consultation services for pediatricians caring for children and adolescents with infectious diseases. We manage and care for children with compromised immune systems, cancer, and children pre- and post-transplantation.

The Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension cares for patients with all types of kidney conditions, hypertension, and a range of urinary system problems. Our division is one of the few in the country to offer a program dedicated to pediatric kidney failure.

Our clinicians and researchers are currently studying how the kidney regulates fluids and electrolyte balance, cardiovascular and lipid-related disease in persons with chronic kidney conditions, and chronic kidney disease.

The Division of Newborn Medicine provides clinical care to newborns born within the Mount Sinai Health System. Our division is uniquely equipped to care for infants with inborn errors of metabolism, liver disease (including pre-transplant management), short-gut syndrome, birth asphyxia, congenital heart disease, and kidney failure. Our research interests include necrotizing enterocolitis, fetal-maternal hemorrhage, prematurity and renal function, and the role of environmental chemical exposures on developmental outcome on neonatal intensive care patients.

The Division of Pulmonology seeks to improve and promote community-based care for children with respiratory diseases, as well as train future pulmonologists. Our pediatric pulmonologists treat the full spectrum of chronic respiratory conditions, including cystic fibrosis, chronic cough, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, complex airway abnormalities, wheezing, and more. The Division also includes the Pediatric Pulmonary Function Laboratory, which uses state-of-the-art equipment to perform comprehensive testing.
