NIH T32 Pediatric Environmental Health Research Fellowship

The fellowship in Pediatric Environmental Health Research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is a three-year, interdisciplinary research program.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for you as a researcher and scientist to experience an exceptional post-residency/postdoctoral research fellowship in environmental pediatrics and to prepare you to become an academic leader and/or clinician-scientist in the emerging field of environmental pediatrics.

Through our fellowship we are developing the breadth and depth of our scientists’ knowledge and skills affording them the expertise necessary to confront the complexity of modern environmental health issues and diseases facing children today. We are also preparing our fellows to predict, navigate, and solve future health crisis and disease in our increasingly complex world.

The fellowship is based within the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health and is supported by the following four academic Departments in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai that are centrally involved in supporting this research training fellowship in environmental pediatrics:

We provide you with additional support through the CHEAR Laboratory Hub and the CHEAR Data Center and the Transdisciplinary Center on Early Environmental Exposures (P30).

The Pediatric Environmental Health Research Fellowship is split into two distinct phases by years and goals. Throughout the program, you will engage in our robust professional development program designed to prepare you for the next phase of your career.
