Division Overview

The Division of Plastic Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center is part of the General Surgery Department. We offer full clinical services in all subspecialty areas within plastic and reconstructive surgery including several services where plastic surgery is part of a multidiscipline team. We offer a residency training program and accept candidates from the PGY-1 match in a six-year combined General Surgery/Plastic Surgery program.

The Plastic Surgery group consists of a strong team that provides all elements of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. In addition they provide the reconstructive element of Oncologic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery, and specialized reconstructions including microvascular surgery in complex cases.
