As a result of this course, participants should feel comfortable with the use of bed-side ultrasound for diagnosis of emergent pathology and in guidance of beside procedures. 

Program Objectives 
After completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the practical clinical use of ultrasound in patient care
  • Identify normal anatomy as well as pathology such as pericardial effusion, hemoperitonenum, and pneumothorax
  • Guide beside procedures such as IV access and others
