Message from the Director

Welcome to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Master of Public Health Program. The MPH Program at Mount Sinai received more applications for admission to the Class of 2010 than in any previous year. You, our incoming students, represent diverse backgrounds, strengths, and interests and will further enhance the dynamic atmosphere that is the hallmark of our program. We look forward to getting to know you over the coming years.

The past year saw some important milestones. The first students enrolled in our specialty tracks graduated. The competency-based curriculum has also been well received by both faculty and students. The MPH Program received full accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health through 2015, a solid endorsement of the quality of our faculty, students, and graduates.

We are excited to begin a new year of working with our students to ensure that they achieve their goals and move on to successful careers.
