Application Process
Application Deadline: October 1st
Applications will be available on July 1st
Review of applications will begin on September 15th
Application Requirements
- Each essay should be approximately 750 words.
- You will be asked to upload a copy of your high school and college transcript. Unofficial copies are acceptable; however, they must be legible.
- Three letters of recommendation – our system only accepts letters of recommendation on-line. In the application you will be asked to identify your recommendation writers and provide an e-mail address. The writers will be sent a link with instructions on how to attach and submit their letter into our system. Please inform your recommenders that they will be receiving an e-mail from EMBARK. Then use the rest of the description which starts with "The people whom you select..."
- SAT/ACT scores
Do not request that the Educational Testing Service or ACT Program forward your scores, as Mount Sinai does not have a recipient code number. Often, your SAT/ACT scores are on your high school transcript. A photocopy or screenshot of your SAT/ACT scores is also acceptable. - Application fee ($105)
Payment of the application fee is part of the on-line application. You will be prompted on how to pay by credit card, check or money order.
Review of applications is done on a rolling basis and will start in September and continue until the end of November. Invitations for interview are also issued on a rolling basis. Interviews at Mount Sinai will take place between mid-November and mid-December. On-campus interviews for selected applicants are required as part of the admissions process.
