Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) Program

In conjunction with the School of Medicine, the Mount Sinai Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery sponsors a six-year combined OMFS/MD training program that offers students a broad educational experience. Through the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program, participants will complete one year of general surgical training (PGY-1) and receive an MD degree. They will also meet all requirements of board eligibility to the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The Mount Sinai OMFS/MD training program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
