Stipends
MSSM requires all principal investigators to adhere to, as a minimum, the current NIH Postdoctoral Stipends. These stipend levels will be subject to adjustments reflecting changes in the NIH rates. In the event that a Postdoctoral Fellow receives support from abroad (e.g., stipend from another country), that stipend should be supplemented, if necessary, to reach the minimum levels delineated below. The mentor will determine any stipend above the minimum.
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and Dean Morrison strongly recommend that an additional $3000 be added to the stipend level for the cost of living in New York.
