Postdoctoral Fellow – Innate Immunity, Mucosal Immunology and Cancer – Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York
A Postdoctoral Fellow position in Immunology is available in the Yeretssian lab at the Immunology Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. The Immunology Institute located at Manhattan, New York City, offers an outstanding environment for a successful postdoctoral career. The successful candidate will benefit from daily interaction with highly accomplished scientists with whom they will collaborate.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our studies on signaling pathways regulating innate immunity and cell death. We focus on the molecular mechanisms and roles of cytosolic pattern recognition receptors of the Nod-like receptor family in innate immune host defense, colitis and cancer using animal models of disease.
Job requirements:
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated/creative, have an MD and/or PhD degree, and a strong background in the function of gut intestinal tract and mucosal immunology, molecular and cellular immunology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. At least one major publication in an internationally recognized journal is required. Applicants should be fluent in English and be available for an interview. Good communication skills and writing ability is an asset. Ability to develop projects and work in a team environment is essential.
