Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid provides comprehensive information and services regarding opportunities to finance your cost of education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. We recognize that financial assistance is an important key towards reaching your graduate educational goals, which is why the office staff can help guide you through the financial aid process.

In supporting our students through the process, please note that all award decisions are made on the basis of financial need and without discrimination because of race, sex, color, creed, age, national origin, handicap, veteran status, marital status or sexual orientation.

Applying for Financial Aid

• All students applying for federal loans must complete the FASFA
• MD students applying for MSSM scholarships must also complete the “Need Access” form
• Complete the appropriate “Application for Financial Assistance” form
• Submit the appropriate Tax returns based on instructions in the FASFA and Application for Financial Assistance Form
