Answer 6 (RhoGAM
TM indications):RhoGAMTM [IgG anti-Rh0(D)] acts by suppressing the immune response of Rh negative individuals to Rh positive red blood cells. RhoGAMTM is indicated whenever it is known or suspected that fetal red cells have entered the circulation of an Rh negative mother unless the fetus or the father can be shown conclusively to be Rh negative. Exposure to Rh positive blood in an Rh negative mother can result in serious birth defects and or death of future pregnancies. The dose is generally one vial of 300 mcg. However, if abortion or termination of pregnancy occurs up to and including 12 weeks' gestation, a single dose of MICRhoGAM (50 mcg) may be used instead.
