Answer 1:
Think ABC's. Make sure that you have an ambu. Bag ready. Call for a vent to be sent down to the ED. Have x-ray on stand by in order to check for tube placement. Also make sure that you are prepared to re-intubate. Meaning have a blade, 7.0, 7.5 tube with stylet and 10cc syringe available.
