Answer 2:
Place the patient on a stretcher and check the airway. Listen for equal breath sounds, and listen to the stomach. Secure 2 large bore IV's and begin NSS. Put her on cardiac monitor and pulse Ox.

Draw labs including ABG. TCA levels are not necessary as this information will not add anything to your management of this patient.

Don't forget to question EMS further about the patients presentation - and family, if so where are they, where was she found.

Consider lavage and charcoal. But first make sure the patient is stable.
