The Research Program within Emergency Medicine is committed to developing a state-of-the-art research
infrastructure for the emergency medicine professional staff of The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
We are dedicated to fostering a creative and innovative environment to support academic and clinical research, providing a forum
for the development of ideas.
Our mission centers on:
- Offering a comprehensive program of instruction designed to build and enhance research skills
- Supporting investigators as they design and implement research protocols that contribute to optimal patient care and delivery of services
- Identifying and acquiring institutional, state, federal, industry-sponsored, and foundation funding to carry out research
- Fostering linkages with other departments and institutions locally, nationally, and internationally
