Faculty Handbook CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION The Page and William Black Post-Graduate School of Mount Sinai School of Medicine provides continuing education for generalist and specialist physicians as well as researchers. Programs encompass a broad range of subject matter from primary care to specialty care, from traditional approaches to innovative new techniques and technologies, from hands-on clinical services to basic science research and public health issues. Programs offered include traditional meeting-based formats, hands-on laboratory classes, live surgery presentations, review courses, and scientific symposia. In addition, programs are presented using innovative formats that take advantage of the latest advances in the fields of education and communication, including videoconferences, CD-ROMs, and on-line courses at MSSMTV.org. |
