Chapter IV: Faculty
APPOINTMENT TO THE GRADUATE FACULTY
Mount Sinai School of Medicine faculty who wish to be appointed
to the Graduate Faculty should seek an active relationship
with one of the Multidisciplinary Training Areas (MTAs). Membership
in the Graduate Faculty is open to active researchers at a
professorial rank who have a relationship with one or more
MTAs in the Graduate Program. Often the MTAs restrict Graduate
Faculty appointments to investigators with extramural grant
support as well as a program of research that meshes well
with the training grants of the MTA. Nominations of Graduate
Faculty must be made by a Department Chair or Center/Institute
Director and the MTA Director. Nomination forms are available
in the Graduate School Office or via e-mail.
