FACULTY RELATIONS

In the event that a faculty member has a grievance regarding academic or other matters that relate to being a member of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine community, the faculty member may seek assistance for the resolution of the grievance via the Faculty Relations Committee (see Chapter III). Faculty should appreciate that they are entitled to review their personal file within The Mount Sinai Medical Center at any time, but the source of references and evaluations may be kept confidential. The faculty member should communicate with the Chairperson of the Faculty Relations Committee and/or the President of the Faculty Council to formalize the grievance and initiate action by the Faculty Relations Committee.
