BeneFlex Program Summary

COBRA

If a faculty member covered under The Mount Sinai Medical Center Health Plan (which includes any of the two PPO or three HMO Plans) loses his/her group health coverage because of a reduction in hours of employment or termination of employment (for reasons other than gross misconduct on employee’s part), he/she can choose a temporary extension of health coverage at group rates.
