Condolence Days

Full After 30 days of employment, full-time faculty are entitled to three days off with pay in the event of the death of a parent, spouse, child, brother, sister, grandparent, father-in-law or mother-in-law.

If the deceased was a dependent covered under your Mount Sinai BeneFlex plan, you must notify the Benefits Center within 31 days of the death. Call 1 (866) 700-6762 for details and instructions on initiating the change, or go online www.mtsinaibenefits.com.

Changes to your income tax withholdings must be done in a web browser. Visit the Mount Sinai Employee Self Service site at https://sinaicentral.mssm.edu/intranet/Home/w4w/default **. You will need your social security number, date of birth and life number to login to the system.
