Parental Day

Full-time faculty are entitled to one day off with pay upon the birth of a baby. This Parental Day should be taken on the day the child is born or within a reasonable time following the date of birth.

If you participate in Mount Sinai’s benefit program, you can add your new child to your coverage within 31 days of the birth. Call 1 (866) 700-6762 for details and instructions on initiating the change, or make the change online at www.mtsinaibenefits.com.

Changes to your income tax withholdings must be done in a web browser. Visit the Mount Sinai Employee Self Service site at https://sinaicentral.mssm.edu/intranet/Home/w4w/default **. You will need your social security number, date of birth and life number to login to the system.

To change your previous beneficiary information, go to:
