Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development and the Lilian and Benjamin Hertzberg Palliative Care Institute, with endorsement from the American Geriatrics Society, Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) and the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, GRECC are pleased to offer the Intensive Update with Board Review in Geriatric & Palliative Medicine CME course, an important opportunity for close study with nationally recognized experts in both fields. An engaging, highly practical and comprehensive review of all aspects of geriatric and palliative medicine, this four-day course consists of six plenary sessions each day with Q&A and is uniquely organized around intimate work sessions, enabling participants to take advantage of close one-on-one mentoring and networking opportunities. Case-based workshops cover topics ranging from geriatric assessment and pain management to falls and urinary incontinence.
This course is designed for clinicians and those taking the Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) examination in Geriatric and Palliative Medicine or the Recertification Examination in Geriatric Medicine.
