Certificate Program in Geriatric Medicine for Visiting Physicians
Overview
The Certificate Program in Geriatric Medicine is designed to train visiting international physicians in geriatric medicine by allowing them to participate on the level of a fellow in geriatric medicine in the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development. Visiting physicians will rotate through the clinical experiences of the fellowship program, including Mobile Acute Care of the Elderly (MACE) Unit, the Geriatrics Concurrent Care Service, the Coffey Geriatrics Outpatient Practice, Palliative Care, Visiting Doctors, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Geropsychiatry, and Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM) Teaching Rotations.
Certificate
Visiting Physicians receive a certificate upon completion of the 2-6 month program.
