Overview

The Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development provides clinical services which offer continuity of care whatever the patient's needs. From outpatient services to specialized inpatient care, from consultation, orthopaedic-geriatric and liaison services when patients are hospitalized on other units, to geriatric home medical care and palliative care, our patients are followed by faculty and staff who know them, who can coordinate their care with whatever other services are necessary, and who are experts in the care of older persons.
