Mount Sinai residents in surgery, pediatrics, pathology, obstetrics and gynecology, and fellows in critical care rotate through Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, and Englewood internal medicine residents obtain first-hand experience at The Mount Sinai Hospital in geriatrics and other subspecialties. As a fully accredited teaching facility, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center maintains a strong commitment to continuing education for medical professionals. Our medical library houses one of the states largest collections of scientific references and features state-of-the-art computer capabilities and linkages to the Mount Sinai network. The Medical Center of Learning, with its 400-seat auditorium and modern video facilities, has established Englewood Hospital and Medical Center as the area's premier location for medical and educational gatherings. Located in a suburban setting in northern Bergen County, just miles from the George Washington Bridge, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center delivers a broad range of comprehensive health services provided by a 500-member medical staff and highly-skilled healthcare professionals. In our effort to meet the ongoing challenges of modern medicine, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center is continually expanding its clinical and facility offerings. State-of-the-art technology and equipment includes diagnostic and service capabilities in Angiography, Cardiac Catheterization, Non-invasive Cardiac Diagnostic Testing, Radiation Oncology, Endoscopy, Renal Dialysis, and Same Day Service. As a leader in innovative services, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center has initiated a broad range of state-of-the-art medical programs. Our Cytodiagnosis and Breast Care Center, offering highly accurate, non-surgical options for early cancer diagnosis, is a national model for breast cancer diagnosis and management and a world leader in the performance and interpretation of fine-needle aspiration biopsies. The New Jersey Institute for the Advancement of Bloodless Medicine and Surgery is a pioneer in transfusionless medicine and surgery and one of only a handful of hospitals worldwide that performs complicated medical procedures without blood transfusions. The Vascular Institute is a national leader in vascular diagnosis and treatment. The Pediatric Specialty Center offers virtually every pediatric specialty from cardiology and gastroenterology to endocrinology and neurology. The Radiology Center features the most advanced CT-Scan and only hospital-based open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine in the region. A full range of critical care facilities includes a neonatal intensive care unit.
