Cancer Biology Multidisciplinary Training Area

The leadership of the Cancer Biology MTA overlaps with that of the NCI-funded Training Program in Cancer Biology, which provides funding for five predoctoral and four postdoctoral trainees. It is currently in its seventh year. The Steering Committee will supervise all aspects of the MTA in conjunction with the two MTA directors. An Advisory Committee on Clinical Cancer is responsible for providing advice to ensure that students trained within this MTA receive adequate and rigorous exposure to aspects of cancer as a human disease.
