New York Area Airports

From La Guardia Airport

Taxis cost between $19-$29 and take about 20-40 minutes. Group rides are generally available at the dispatch lines outside the baggage claim areas. Group fares are about $10.

The New York Aiport Service bus runs every 30 minutes, 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M., from all terminals. The ride takes about 40 minutes, costs $15, and takes you to Grand Central Station (42nd St.) and a number of midtwon hotels. From JFK International Airport

Taxis cost about $55, and the trip takes about an hour. Yellow cabs into Manhattan must provide a flat fare of $45.00 plus any tolls. The meter will not be turned on, and the night surcharge will not be added. If passengers request multiple stops, the flat rate of $45.00 will be collected at the first stop in Manhattan, and the meter will be turned on for the remainder of the trip. New Jersey Transit Express buses run every 15 minutes from 6 A.M. to midnight (hourly after that). They will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan (8th Ave. and 42nd St.).
