Preparing Your Application

Effective May 17, 2006, a fringe benefit rate of 26.5 percent must be applied to all federal agencies. A 27.5 percent rate must be applied to all non-federal agencies. These changes have been incorporated into the Budget Page (GCO Page Two) of the MSSM Research Application.

• Note: When you download the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet it will open in your browser. Save it to your computer desktop prior to completing it. Alternately, you can save it directly to the desktop by choosing "Save Target As..." with right-click on mouse. This template includes the Face Page (Form 1), Detailed Budget (Form 4) Budget for Entire Proposed Project Period (Form 5), Modular Budget Format Page, Checklist, and additional budget pages and worksheets.
