About Us

The North Shore Medical Group has been serving the Huntington community since 1946. It began with 3 physicians, the first board certified physicians in Suffolk County. Today it has over 40 physicians in 17 specialties who continue the Group's tradition of quality. In 1995, the Group became part of Mount Sinai and now has access to the expertise, prominent specialists and latest treatment options that this system offers.

The North Shore Medical Group prides itself on a lifetime relationship with you and your family. Patients start with us as infants in the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Department, grow with us through adulthood in both the Internal Medicine and Obstetrical and Gynecological Department and finally can receive care in our Geriatrics Department. Through all of these years, our specialists join in your care as needed.

The North Shore Medical Group has recently expanded into Commack with its first multi-specialty satellite office.
