As of 12/07/07 all new Retrospective Review applications must be submitted electronically using InfoEd. The MSSM IRB is no longer accepting new Retrospective Review applications using paper forms. InfoEd LoginRetrospective Review applications are any IRB submissions which only requires one of these 4 forms:
Any other kinds of new research and any existing research for which you are submitting an continuation application must still be submitted using paper forms at this time. Future announcements will indicate when other submission types will be available through InfoEd. In order to be able to create a Retrospective Review application in InfoEd, you must attend an InfoEd Human Subjects training class. Even if you have attended InfoEd training classes for Proposal Development and/or Lab Animals, you still must attend a Human Subjects class in order to learn the process and interface for Human Subjects. Only after attending a class and signing an attendance form for Human Subjects Infoed Training will you be provided with access to the Human Subjects module within InfoEd.
