The NeuroBehavioral Research group (NBRG), part of the Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of international medical doctors, neuroscientists, epidemiologists and mental health practitioners representing the fields of neurology, psychiatry, psychology, obstetrics and gynecology, immunology, endocrinology, cognitive science, neuropsychology and social work.

Clinical research programs bridging neurologic, neuropsychiatric and neuropsychologic practices afford the opportunity of advancing an interdisciplinary approach to the skillful assessment of brain and brain associated diseases towards achieving the diagnostic insight necessary for the facilitation of comprehensive individualized treatment plans.

The neural mechanisms of cognition represent one of the most exciting frontiers of contemporary neuroscience. Theoretical and methodological innovations, enabling paradigmatic advances in probing cognitive functions, are driving progress in the exploration of their mechanisms. The NBRG is among a handful of clinicians and researchers utilizing cutting edge technology and methodology in order to uncover the causes of various biologically based neuropsychiatric disturbances including:
