E-mail Access
SPAM
Any unsolicited commercial email sent to multiple email recipients against their wishes.
Introduction
A new ANTI-SPAM application has been introduced that will greatly improve everyone's ability to manage SPAM. This new application will send an e-mail digest twice a day, 8 A.M. and 4 P.M., listing all messages that have been quarantined for the last 14 days. It will give users the options to release individual messages and create WHITE and BLACK lists.
Release a Quarantined Message
An e-mail digest will be sent by our two e-mail gateways at 8 A.M. and 4 P.M. to all users with quarantined e-mail.
The e-mail digest message will resemble the following sample message:
Sender: precisemail@ing-2.mssm.edu or precisemail@ing-1.mssm.edu.
Recipient: joe.smith@mssm.edu
"Email Message Body"
If you determine that a message has been incorrectly quarantined, click on REPLY, and delete all the lines in the email except the one that begins with Message: then click on SEND.

Q: Why do I receive e-mail digests from two different addresses?
A: Two e-mail gateways are required for reliable email delivery. The Anti-SPAM vender has promised in a later release that a proxy version will available so e-mail will be sent from only one e-mail address.
