Patient Care

Much of the Patient Care content is divided into Service Areas and Services. Service Areas represent areas of clinical focus, for example Heart or Children. See the listing of Service Areas for other examples. Services represent specific programs, clinics, and centers providing patient care at Mount Sinai, for example Breast Imaging Services. See the listing of existing Services under the tab Treatments and Services for other examples.

Content Requirements

In addition to the content requirements mentioned under the section New Sites and New Content, when supplying new content for Service Areas and Services please provide the following:

  • Service Area content organized using these categories: About Us; Diseases and Conditions; Procedures and Health Care Services; and The Doctors.
  • Name of Service Area(s) to which the Service is associated.
  • Service content organization should follow the recommendations under section New Sites and New Content.

For existing content, please follow the instructions under Existing Content. You may also disassociate or associate Service with/to Service Area(s).
