Create and Edit Sites

Research Entity

Research Entities include laboratories, programs, and some centers. See the listing of existing Research Entities for examples.

Content Requirements

In addition to the content requirements mentioned under the section New Sites and New Content, when supplying new content for a Research Entity please provide the following:

  • Content organized using these categories: Overview; Recognition and Publications; Clinical Trials; Projects and Grants; Team; and Facilities. Research Entity Template Word Document
  • Name of department(s) and if necessary division(s) to which the Research Entity is associated. See listing for Departments and Divisions.
  • Research Topics to which the Research Entities should be associated. See list of Research Topics.

For existing content, please follow the instructions under Existing Content. You may also disassociate research topics or associate additional ones, and modify department and division associations. Please e-mail the weboffice@mssm.edu to determine to which research topics, departments, and divisions the Research Entity has been associated.

Submitting Content

Send requests to webfeedback@mssm.edu, if content has been migrated to the Medical Center site, www.mountsinai.org, or represents a new Research Entity that is not yet on either Medical Center or School Websites.

Send requests to weboffice@mssm.edu, for non-migrated content on the School site, www.mssm.edu.

Your e-mail messages must contain the following elements, or else it will be delayed in processing:

  • E-mail subject lines must be composed in the following manner: Indicate the content type, department or division name, program name, followed by the category if applicable, then the request type. (For example, if the Research Entity Cancer Immunity sent a request, the e-mail subject line would be: RE: Microbiology: Cancer Immunity: Overview: New Content.) Please avoid using simply "Website update" or "Web page update" as the subject line.
  • Request Type / Content Type must be indicated in the body of the message: "Content Type: RE" and "Request Type: New Content." See section Overview for more information on Request Types.
  • Attachments if applicable.
