Remote Access to Levy Library Online Resources

The Levy Library provides remote (off-campus) access for Mount Sinai faculty, students, and staff to most of the library's databases, electronic journals, and e-books.

Users must usually identify themselves with a User Name (or MSSM ID) and Password when logging in to the library's online resources from off-campus.

Your User Name or MSSM ID usually includes last name (or first 5 letters of your last name), first initial, and a number such as 01 or 02.

• Example -- Bob Johnson would be: johnsb01
• If you are unsure about your User Name, you can look it up.

Your Password is set to your life number by default.

• If your life number begins with a zero, drop the first number.
