7. Prepare to Search

The PubMed interface sometimes changes, but you should see all of the following features on the homepage:

• A query box to type your search terms
• A link to the Advanced Search screen, which contains tools such as Limits to refine your search
• Links to useful PubMed tools and resources such as the MeSH Database and the Single Citation Matcher

Some of these features appear on all PubMed screens, while others only appear on the PubMed homepage.
