3. Search History: Finding Previous Searches

At the top of the Advanced Search page is a list of your Most Recent Queries.

• Re-run a search by clicking on the Results number.

• You can also combine the searches in the history. Click on the Search number to open a menu, and then select AND, OR or NOT from the menu. PubMed will send that search to the search box. View Example.

If you will frequently need to run searches on a topic, it can be be useful to save your search and/or set up a search alert using My NCBI.
