1. Search Display Settings
allow you to adjust the way your search results are presented. The Display Settings drop down menu is located above your search results.
Example
If you do not already have search results to work with, search for cancer.
Items per page: PubMed automatically displays your search results with 20 citations to a page. To display more citations on a web page, choose a number greater than 20 from the Display Settings menu. Then click Apply.
Sort by: PubMed automatically lists search results by the date they were added to the database. The Sort by menu allows you to resort your results by author, journal, article title or publication date.
Just a few: Instead of changing the display of all of your results, change selected references by using the check boxes to the left of each citation.
